What a day! This morning I had my English Language AS level exam at 8:45am. Then at noon my brother and I took a taxi to Heathrow and got there one hour later. However we found out that our flight was cancelled alongside many other because of an incident that occurred earlier today with one of the planes. This meant that we had to wait in a queue to rebook our flight. We did and we waited for almost 5 hours! The only problem was that the next flight wasn't until Monday morning!
Thankfully we have friends who live in London and who are willing to take us in until Monday. Truth is, being an overseas student is difficult when it comes to these situations especially when you end up spending all of your money on a taxi ride!!!
